Gary Michael Sussman

Gary Michael Sussman departed this earth on Sunday, August 16, 2026. He is survived by his father, Derby Sussman, stepmother Patricia Sussman, his daughter Sylvia, his sons, Reed and Ryker, sister Ellen, stepsisters Dawn and Denise, his nieces Jordan and Brooke, and his Uncle Arnold and Aunt Nikou. His family also included his life-long friends who he considered to be his brothers – Patrick, both Scotts, Tony, Johnny, and Billy. He was pre-deceased by his stepbrother, Michael.

After being raised in the Maryland/DC area, Gary quickly moved to Boca Raton to achieve one of his many dreams, to live by the water. He founded Marblehouse Stone & Design, providing quality products and design services for the South Florida community for over 30 years.

His greatest love was his children and providing them with a life full of affection, joy, adventure and stability. His second love was the ocean. Gary was not at home until he was on the water - and he made sure to be there often. Boating, fishing, kayaking, scuba diving, really anything on the water were his favorite pastimes.

Most importantly, Gary loved life and interacting with people, sharing his love for food and music with all of his friends and family. He never had a boring day and, after surviving a life altering heart attack in 2011, Gary lived the next 15 years to the fullest. His body is gone but his love and memory will live on for many years to come.
