Barbara, my condolences in your loss of George.

BARBARA,WHAT CAN ONE SAY AFTER THE LOSS OF A GREAT FRIEND? I was very sad to here of George's passing. I caddied for George, played golf with him, and was his friend for over forty years. My life like many others was enriched by having George as my friend.  He will be missed.

God saw him getting tired; a cure was not to be.
He wrapped him in his loving arms and whispered, 'Come with me.'
He suffered much in silence, his spirit did not bend.
He faced his pain with courage, until the very end.
He tried so hard to stay with me, but his fight was not in vain,God took him to his loving home and freed him from his pain.
My dear husband, the love of my life, I miss you dearly, but my memories of you will bring me peace of mind.

Barbara,  My heart goes out to you, as I can understand how difficult this is.  You did have a beautiful romance and a great life partner.  You have many happy memories to cherish which will help keep him close in your heart and maybe bring a smile to your face.

George will be remembered as a vibrant, compassionate brother-in-law and  wonderful husband to my dear sister, Barbara.  

I especially appreciated his kindness to our mother and father, Barbara and Parker Ward.  

I'm thankful for memories of happy times spent with him.
