George  I remember when we first met you. Anthony and I loved all your great stories especially  Anthony.We used stay over and you would come down  to Doris and Tony 's apt. And make us laugh.You will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

I will always remember all the summer vacations in Wildwood and Florida with your crazy and wild friends Frank and Johnny Cadilac and all the pranks that went on.  Those were the days, and I thank you and Ann for those beautiful memories.

The best memory I have of Uncle George was the times in Hopatcong in the summer house on the hill. All the time of playing in the basement,and the wonderful dinners. Then later when it got dark going out back to catch fireflys. May he rest in peace now.

George, I first met you when I was 7 yrs old and moved to 64th Street in Brooklyn.  Doris quickly became my dearest friend.  We used to play in Doris' room and had to be very quiet because you were usually in your room sleeping after coming back from a long work trip with your truck.  When I was 8 or 9, you Ann and Doris took me with you to Hopatcong for a weekend.  You told me to be careful because there were bears there.  When we arrived at the house, I called my mother crying because I was terrified of the bears.  My father told me not to listen to you, that you were just trying to scare me.  In my teens and thru all the years, every time you saw me, the first thing you would say was "Linda, how's your love life?"  I used to reply "it sucks George".  Well, some things never change George, it still sucks.  When I was 19, my father died.  That first Father's Day after he died, I asked you if I could adopt you as my father and you said "sure, anything you want".  I have many memories of laughs with you.  Thank you for the memories, the laughs and the advice over all the years I've known you.  RIP dear George .. we will try to be quiet while you are sleeping.

RIP George. You were always the life of the party. Thanks to you back in 1963 when you invited Marty and Angie to your home in Hopatcong little did you know you were creating my future. I know you are causing crazies in heaven. Hope all your friends were there to greet you. Heaven will never be the same with all you truckers there. Thank you for one more wonderful future for me. Your daughter Doris. I couldn't love her or her family anymore if we were biological sisters. Oh and I still think you put Marty's new car on milk crates and removed his tires. Will miss you. Jodi

  MANY YEARS AGO MY SISTER ANN AND I WENT TO A ROLLER SKATING RINK.. IT WAS THERE WE MET THIS HANDSOME MARINE. FROM THAT DAY ON ANN'S LOVE STORY WITH GEORGE EVOLVED. TALK ABOUT LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. THRU THE MANY YEARS ANN CONTINUED TO LOVE GEORGE FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES. GEORGE HAS SPENT THE LAST SIX YEARS IN A NURSING HOME. IF ANYONE THERE ASKED HIM HOW HE WAS THE ANSWER WAS '' I'M OK. ANN ALWAYS SAID SHE HAD A JOB.....IT WAS GEORGE. NOT TOO MANY PEOPLE WOULD EARN THIS TYPE OF LOVE. FOR ANN NO MATTER WHAT WAS GOING ON 'GEORGE 'WAS ALWAYS FIRST ON HER LIST. NOT EVERYONE UNDERSTOOD HER LOVE. NOT TOO MANY PEOPLE LOVE THE WAY SHE LOVED GEORGE. I'm STILL HER KID SISTER THAT WAS THERE WHEN IT HAPPENED.
