The obituary written for George is a fitting tribute to a "Great Guy".
I'm sure that as I look around the room at George's memorial service
I will see a great number of people who will also call George a lifelong friend.
Loved by all he will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
I, for one, Will go through the rest of my life trying to be more like George.

My brothers and I have just learned of George's passing away, may we offer our deepest and most profound sympathy and sorrow for your loss.
We have fond memories of George and Emil at the 'hot dog' stand at Lawrence and Elston in Chicago . I worked for George many years at the stand at Lawrence Ave. and the Snack a go-go on Irving in Chicago. I will always remember George and his lovely wife and children...we will keep him in our prayers.
May the ever lasting light shine upon him as he enters the Kingdom of Heaven.

We are so sorry for your loss. George was such a kind and friendly man. He made everyone feel comfortable no matter what you had going on. He was always glad to hear from you and always had some good stories about the old days when we were all young. He will always be remembered. Wayne Oswald, Peggy and Ken Cmunt
