Phyllis, I am very much saddened by the passing of your husband, Jerry. He and I were the closest of friends during high school. We did a lot together during those teen years and had a great time doing so.
My deepest sympathies go out to you and to your family and prayers for the Holy Spirit's presence in your lives to comfort and to uplift you at this especially sad time.
Gerald, as I knew him, was one of the first students at James Monroe HS to meet and greet me in 1947 when my late Mom and
I had moved to Fredericksburg, VA. We entered the 8th grade together then as it had just become a part of the educational process in VA.
It was very special to have him as a friend and a compadre. He was so talented in a lot of ways.
He shall be missed.
Much love to you,
Tom & Sandy Kresse
