Paula, I am sorry for your loss.  Aunt Gerry was a beautiful woman and I will always remember my time spent with her.  I know how I felt when my mom passed away.  It was like a part of my of myself was missing.  Time has a way to heal our broken hearts!  May you have the most wonderful memories of your mom and keep them forever close to your heart. Paula "Aunt Gerry" was an amazing woman - an honest, kind and unique person.  She was an inspiration and I admired so many things about her.  She touched so many lives in her 93 years on this earth. Aunt Gerry inspired me to become the artist and individualist that I am today. I'd stare at her paintings, soaking them in. I loved spunk and attitude! I can't wait to see her in heaven someday :)

Paula, We have lost a wonderful lady.  Geri has been a treasured friend for over 50 years and I admired her artistic talent, her strength, her sense of humor, and her wonderful smile. But she's now in a place with Marty and I'm sure they will both be with you in spirit, always.

Grandma was a legend.  She was herself, she never lied about anything.  She always told the truth no matter what.  That's what I most admired about her.  You always knew how she felt about you, there was no question.  You never had to second guess.  She didn't mince her words.  She had a great sense of humor and very insightful.  I know she struggled with the belief in God and eternity and was quite stuborn about believing in God for some reason only God knows.  She was honest about it and she wasn't lukewarm.  Now she knows the truth about God and has seen him.  Please pray for the repose of her soul. Most of my memories of Grandma Kemmett are with her dog. She loved her dog so much! She also LOVED her grandchildren. She was such an independent, strong and funny person. That's where her daughter gets her strength. I know how much she will be missed. Love and prayers to the family.

Aunt Geri was loving,full of knowledge,a talented artist and adventurous.  She was a fantastic photographer too.  She took me to Radio City music Hall and introduced me to the World of Art when we went to The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.  Aunt Geri opened my world to new and fascinating areas in the museum.  She knew most of the artists and could recognize their styles.Aunt Geri also loved the American Wing at the Met.  She loved New York City too. We painted in art class with Tony Mischa.  My late husband loved her so much...her lively spirit, her openness to new things and zest for life.  Aunt Geri will always remain in our hearts along with the beautiful memories. Love and respect, your niece Gail
