She was born November 3, 1945, in Austria, one of three children born to the late Sabina and Mykola Lytwyn of Wilmington, Delaware. Palumbo resided in Boca Raton, Florida, since 1978 and is where she called home. Palumbo dedicated her life to her family. She married Joseph M. Palumbo of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on October 31, 1970, in Wilmington, Delaware, and their 40 year marriage was spent enjoying their children and grandchildren, as well as traveling and working side-by-side in their own business, Squires Travel Service. Additionally, she spent 21 years of her career working for Eastern Airlines. She was a loving, caring individual who always greeted everyone with a genuine smile.
