Peter was born in Salzburg, Austria on April 25, 1942, and always kept the city close to his heart, even though he was very proud to become a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2000. He enjoyed a lifelong career with Siemens Corp. which provided him with the opportunity to work and travel all over the world, something that he immensely enjoyed. Peter always had a passion to enjoy life to the fullest, and would want everyone who knew him to continue in the same tradition.
Peter is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Ursel Steiner, his sister Inge(Herbert) Glaser of Salzburg, his son Rene Steiner(Tine) of Hamburg, Germany, his daughter Joanna Doldan(Max), of Boca Raton, and his 5 loving grandchildren, Benni, Louise, Marius, Luke and Kai and many close friends and extended family.
Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice By The Sea in recognition of their excellent services.
A Memorial Service will be held at Babione Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 at 6:00 PM.
