Janet was born on August 29, 1962 in Brooklyn, New York, raised in Stated Island, then moved to Boca Raton.
Janet was predeceased by her father, Antonio Muto, mother Emilia “Vincenzina” Muto, brother Fred L. Muto, and sister Elvira “Vera” Emily Muto.
Janet worked as a Client Service Professional at Ameriprise Financial Services in Boca Raton, Florida.
Janet loved to cook. She enjoyed having family and friends over for her specialty meals. If you had a good meal, she needed to know what were the ingredients and how it was made. She would make it better! One of her favorite signs of approval was UMMMMM!
Janet had nicknames for most people in her life. Most people can say she called me this name…. That was her way of being endearing. Don’t let that fool you. Janet was a strong willed person. She said what she felt without hesitation.
That being said, after gathering her belongings from her home there was so many memories, cards, letters and photos of the people in her life. She was so sentimental! Saving little things that reminded her of someone special and keeping it for decades. She would write cards to her mom for her birthday and mother’s day even after her passing to tell her how much she loved and missed her. A big softy deep down inside!
Janet had many cousins and friends, coworkers and mentors.
She will be missed and our hearts will hurt but her heart will be full and her family will be whole again.
Keep that peace as you remember Janet. She is home with her family and the Lord.
Love ya <3
