Jean and her husband George were lifetime friends of my parents Beverley and Fred Blood.  Jean was my mother's Maid of Honor on June 5, 1937.  Jean and I share the same birthday, March 5th. We still kept in touch. She had a long and wonderful life and loved her family! I celebrate her life and send my condolences to her family.I will always remember this kind, caring, and elegant woman.

What a wonderful woman our Aunt was and how lucky we all were to have had her in our lives. She was generous and kind; there was a card every birthday and some treat from Florida every Christmas.  And that memory! I'm still amazed that she was able to recall the exact address of her father's business (around the corner from where I now live) years after the fact.  She was a lovely lady and will most certainly be missed.

 I will remember Aunt Jean as a kind, generous person still sharp with a great sense of humor too.  I enjoyed talking with her more over the last 2 years as I had moved to South Orange NJ around the corner from the house where she had lived as a child.  She remembered the neighborhood exactly as it is and we both enjoyed the walk down memory lane.  She had a life well lived.  We will all miss her.

Aunt Jean was as kind as they come.  She was a smart woman too, interested in learning new things.  I will miss our talks and her company.  Rest in peace dear heart.

Aunt Jean was a remarkable woman...to the end full of life...I will never forget her coming to watch Katie ride in West Palm Beach...she was well into her 90's and all these people were carting around in golf carts...not Jean - she walked...
