Jean A. Pierce Tedeschi

March 5, 1928 – May 20, 2010

Our loving mother, who dedicated her life to her family, is now living in the house of our Lord and Savior. We will miss her more than words could ever express. She was, and forever will be the most amazing, courageous, fun-loving, and giving person one could ever know.

She was born on March 5, 1928, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to Charles and Jennie Pierce. She was married to the late Leon E. Tedeschi, and they resided in West Orange, New Jersey, for many years before moving to Boca Raton in 1964.

In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, she worked as a real estate agent, taught ceramic classes, and did volunteer work at Grace Community Church and Boca Raton Community Hospital.

She loved to travel and enjoyed many trips through her church to Alaska, Greece, Italy, and Norway, to name a few.

She is survived by her son, Alan L. Tedeschi, daughter-in-law, Gloria Tedeschi, daughter, Deborah A. Harris, son-in-law, Donald C. Harris, son, David E. Tedeschi, daughter-in-law, Sallie B. Tedeschi, son, Mark S. Tedeschi, daughter-in-law, Michelle Tedeschi, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren sisters-in-law, Gladys Pierce, and Irene Tedeschi, many nieces and nephews, and many great friends.

A viewing is scheduled at Kraeer Funeral Home, 1353 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, on May 24th. A celebration of her life will be held at Grace Community Church, 600 West Camino Real, Boca Raton, on May 25th, followed by burial services at the Boca Raton Cemetery at 451 Southwest 4th Avenue.

Our lives will forever be richer, our memories more beautiful, and our blessings more abundant because of you, Mom. Thank you for everything. We will never forget you.
