Jeanette Ferris

On Sunday, September 18, our beloved mom, Jeanette Temel-Ferris went home to be with the Lord, her Husband, George and family. She was 84 years old and is survived by her Daughters, Sandra, Nathalie, and Monique and husband Steve, her brother, Franklin, and her beloved grandchildren, Amanda, Alexandra, Ryan, and Timothy as well as her great granddaughter, Madison. Our mom was born on November 20th, 1937 in Bogota Colombia, SA. She was educated overseas in Switzerland, and then in the USA. She worked for the American Embassy in Colombia, and held many positions of great responsibility as and executive Secretary, but her greatest accomplishment was raising her “girls.” Mom valued family. She was a dedicated mother, daughter, wife, and a great sister to her four brothers. She was the epitome of elegance, kindness, and grace. If you met mom, you loved her instantly, her sweet, warm smile was an invitation to interact with her, and people normally did.

Her unwavering faith in God is our strength and comfort today as we prepare for her celebration of life. We will be gathering for mass on Monday October 17th, 2022 at 9:30 AM at St Ambrose Catholic Church, 380 S Federal Hwy, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441. Then, heading to her final resting place at Boca Raton Mausoleum at 451 SW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33432. Family and friends are welcomed to join us at Too Jays Restaurant to follow the services 2240 NW 19th St Suite #700, Boca Raton, FL 33431
