Jennie Bernstein

Jean Bernstein, age 98, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away on Thursday October 23, 2025. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bernie and her daughter Rozalyn Karpinski. Jean is survived by her daughters Sandy Feller (Joe) , Barbara Owen (Dennis) , grandchildren, Mark Karpinski (Margie), David Karpinski, Dana Koch (Rob), Brian Feller, Hayley Black (Jeremy), Blythe Owen, and great grandsons, Joel Feller and Isaac Black.

Jean and Bernie raised their family in Bloomfield, New Jersey before moving to Boca Raton, Florida in 1980. Jean loved teaching two and three year olds for many years at Rainbow of Love preschool until the age of 85. As well as her love of children, Jean loved all animals and often rescued strays and rehabilitated injured wildlife.

Jean was a very talented artist and loved to dance, knit, sew, and many other forms of crafts that are too numerous to mention. She touched the lives of many and was loved by anyone who had the privilege to know her.

A visitation will be held at Babione - Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation, located at 1100 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33432, on October 26, 2025, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

A committal service will follow at Boca Raton Cemetery, 451 SW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33432, on October 26, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.

Shiva will be at:

1260 SW 8th St., Boca Raton FL, 33486

It will take place after the cemetery until 8pm & Monday from 1pm until 8pm
