I worked for John at Clock Restaurant (3,) My wife and I Babysat for Amy and John. Such a nice family. 

I just saw this. Did he work for the Clock Restaurants? If so, I know all the family. I worked for him as a manager for years. What a great man.

John was a true man!  I knew John from playing softball both locally and on the road here in Florida for the past thirty years. Always friendly and kind to me both on the field and off.  This news of Johns passing brings sadness to my heart.  You will truly be missed!   My prayers to John's family and friends.

John was a friend to me back in High School.  I knew he was a special person way back then, so it comes to be no surprise that he went on to have a loving family and tons of friends. Please accept my most sincere condolences for your loss.   RIP John......

So sorry to here of John's passing. I spent many years umpiring with John in FLA. I have lost touch with many since moving north to raise my family but i must add that John was always father/uncle like to many of us fellow umpires.You will be missed my friend. I am so sorry that I am away and not able to convey my deepest sympathy to John's family in person. Although I have only known John for a few short years, it became immediately obvious to me what an outstanding individual he was. He helped me more than he realized. He will be missed by many. Sorry to hear of John's passing. John pledged TKD in the fall of 62. He was my little brother, still have the paddle he made for me. I was reminded of the "riding the dryers" incident. John, Roger E, Eric & myself. We kept in touch over the yrs via phone & email. I remember John's laugh!

We loved being in your presence and always had tremendous respect for you because of all the things you did through work and for your family, dogs, and friends. We loved the photos and stories you shared with us about your beloved dogs,and sharing so many wonderful games of poker with you. I was deeply saddened to hear of John's passing.  I pledged Tau Kappa Delta in the fall of 1966 so I didn't get to know him until later at different functions and parties.  He was a great guy who certainly knew how to have a good time.  He will be missed.  I will keep John and his family in my prayers.

I was saddened to hear of John's passing; so sad that tears were flowing from my eyes.  John and I go way back.  He was my big brother when I pledged Tau Kappa Delta in College.  We had a lot of fun…. too much fun to mention here.  My tears slowed down when I remembered some of the brothers going to the Laundromat late one night to wash our clothes.  John showed me how to ride the dryers.  So while our clothes were washing we took turns riding the dryers.  As the dryer would go round and round I took a picture of John upside down.  Getting in the dryer was one thing.  Getting out was another.  Last time I saw John, he laughed so hard when I said we could do it again but in an industrial size dryer.  John was loved by all he touched and will be missed.

  I am so sad to hear of the passing of John.  God bless you my friend. You will be missed.

I just had the greatest opportunity to meet John on the cruise last month. He immediately made me feel welcome and part of his family. His generosity and kindness were visible the moment you met him. I am so thankful for the opportunity to have met John and his family. I send my prayers and love to you guys.

John's humble way of helping others stretched all the way up here in Pennsylvania as I knew him through NSA Softball. Sympathies to the familly.

I am deeply saddened to hear of John's passing. I only saw John a couple times a year with our duties as Directors of the National Softball Association but he was always so nice, friendly and helpful to me or anyone. As evidenced by the many emails and posts on FB, many people loved and admired John. We ALL are deeply saddened and he will be greatly missed. I send heartfelt thoughts as well as prayers to his family and many close friends.  The world is a lesser place now, but the Lord has strengthened the heavens with a tremendous man!

I"m so sadden by the news.  I just saw John a couple of weeks ago and we joked about the old days.  I have had the pleasure of knowing him since my late teens.  He was my coach and my friend.  My thoughts and prayers go out to the whole Lynch family and all that knew and loved John...He will be greatly missed
