Jack married the love of his life, Anna Fusco in 1958. They were happily married for 60 years.
Jack enjoyed golf and the Florida sunshine and spent his winters going back and forth from Delaware to Boca Raton, Florida and eventually chose the sunshine over the cold and fully retired in Boca Raton. Before his move, he enjoyed Rehobeth Beach living and spending time at the golf course with his many friends. He lived his life for his two daughters and his three grandsons. His world revolved around the active lives of his grandsons. He was the must devoted and dedicated father to his two daughters and a beloved “Papul” to his three grandsons. They worshiped and adored him. He was an important part of every aspect of their lives. He also loved going out for happy hour cocktails and dinner with his “bride” which is how he still referred to her 60 years after their wedding.
His other passion was Notre Dame football. He didn’t miss watching one of their games his entire life.
We will miss him dearly every single day of our lives. There wasn’t a day that he didn’t call both of his daughters to check in. He was a loving, kind and giving man that made an impact on everyone in his life.
He is survived by his wife Anna, his children, Diane Schwartz, husband Carl, Donna Halakos, husband Angelo. Three grandchildren, Vasilis, Christos and Yiannis Halakos. He is also survived by his beloved Riley nephews and nieces, Patsy, Duke, Michael, John Pat, Mary Ann, Elizabeth and Timothy,
