I was just thinking about John the other day when I found out he had passed away.  He was a great person and mentor.  He saw something in me, developed me, and promoted me.  He had a tremendous impact on my professional and personal life.  My condolences to your family.

A friend for almost 40 years. John will be missed but not forgotten. I will remember the great times we have shared over the years. His was very proud of his girls and spoke of them every time we talked.

John was a friend and colleague of ours at Steak and Ale Restaurants.  We had many great times together at work and play.  We spent some time with him last October at the Steak and Ale reunion in Dallas.   Our condolences go out to his family.

I had only met John a handful of times but have known his daughters for a decade or better. Two more intelligent, beautiful, caring or gracious young women you will never meet.
They say that when all is said and done all you can hope to give to this world is a legacy. In these two people he has done just that.
