To the entire Veltri family sincere deep sympathy on the passing of my dear "cousin" John Raymond Veltri. His father John owned the hardware store on Canal St., N.Y. and my dad Andrew F. Sunday were the best of friends. John introduced Andy to my mom Lillie and they married within 6 months. John's wife Elizabeth was my godmother. I spent many happy moments at their home on Kings Highway, Bklyn. John and Ben were considered my "cousins". I was their "cheese cake champion (I loved cheese cake"). John was like a second father to me.  Always kind, wise and generous.  He treated me as if I was his second daughter.  Our adventures in Italy will forever be remembered, from Kitty and I dancing on the bar, to Tom and Kitty finding that underground club, what good times we had.  

When at the Lake House, Robert was so happy to take the burden of cooking for 20+ people off your shoulders so you could relax and enjoy the company you had.  Until we meet again, I will miss you.

We met as an accountant and a prospective client some 40 years ago, we met as friends thereafter!  Greatful for ever!

Wow, 42 years as a boss, a mentor, a partner in business and most importantly, a friend.  You leave a hole in my heart that I will not be able to fill.  My condolences to Sandy, Johnny, Adrienne and the grand children. R.I.P. Big V.

John Veltri, Sr. was a fun-loving, generous man, who essentially served as a second father to my brother and I.  Such a wonderful soul; may he rest in peace.

I was so happy to spend some time with you on your visits to Califonia, these past years. Gentlemen of gentlemen are hard to replace. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. 
To all my cousins, rest assured that grandma Veltri is cooking up Uncle Johns favorite dish.

Saying goodbye to an angel in our life. Thank you grandpa for everything you did for us. My advisor, my rock, my father in law, the grandfather of my daughters. You are in my heart forever. I will be thankful forever.

My condolences to the Veltri family. John was such nice person, a Gentleman in all the sense of the word. He will be missed!!

I will always have great memories of Mr. Veltri.  I was a stranger when I met him and he accepted me almost as family.  His smile was contagious and his love for life was surpassed by his love for friends and family.

May the sunshine warm upon your face.
May the rains fall upon your fields.
