Dr. Joseph M Landolfi, age 76, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away on Tuesday October 8, 2019. Joseph was born November 27, 1942 in Newark. Doctor Joe grew up in Belleville and was always considered one of the "Bell Boys." He attended Belleville High School where he met and fell in love with his wife of 54 years Judith (Frusteri). He attended Syracuse University and continued to be an avid Orange fan throughout his entire life. After graduating, Joe and Judy married and started their lives together travelling to Italy where he attended the University of Bologna Medical School. During those years he met and fostered relations with colleagues that would become lifelong friends and also started a family. Upon return to New Jersey he set up an ophthalmology practice where he could fulfill his dream of helping those who could not see. Over the years Doctor Joe received many accolades including being named one of New Jersey's Top Docs. After a 40 year career he decided to retire and move to Florida where he could pursue his second passion, golf. He could often be seen on the course with friends enjoying a beautiful afternoon and smoking his signature cigar.

Surviving Joseph is his loving wife Judith, his proud sons Joseph and Michael, his daughters-in-law Maria and Kristen, granddaughters Olivia, Samantha, and Charlotte. Celebration of Life Services for Joseph will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Babione - Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1100 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33432. Doctor Joe was our eye doctor for a very long time. When my young son had a problem, Dr. Joe sent him immediately to his friend, Dr. Caputo to solve the problem. Will miss Joe's smile.
