Karen Emma Gregory, aged 48, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, Florida. She was born on November 23, 1970 in Bryn Mawr, PA to William J. Gregory and Mary Jane (Cox) Gregory. Growing up in Gladwyne, PA she enjoyed gymnastics, ballet, horseback riding and car rides with her father checking on his paving construction work.
After her father passed away, she moved with her mother and sister to Boca Raton, Florida in 1988 and gained employment as a nail technician in a high end salon where she met life long friends.
Karen had a true beauty both inside and out. She was an animal advocate, loved to dance and always had a smile and kind word for everyone she met. She lived her life with such passion and compassion, and complete unconditional love. Karen was a devoted single mother to her two boys, always caring for their needs and putting them first. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and loved the Lord with all her heart.
Later in life she started a holistic residential cleaning business using natural low toxic products. She was committed to her clients well being and was loved by all. She is survived by her sister Bonnie DeProspero and her children and grandchildren; her sister Wendy Sadusky and her husband and children; her beloved sons Phillip Gage Gottes and Gabriel Scott Mishler; and many nephews, nieces and grands who think the world of her.

What a blessing to have known Karen. She loved selflessly and seemingly tirelessly. Karen was always putting others needs and concerns before her own...something you rarely experience with many people these days. She would always call to see how I was doing with my kids, work, spiritual concerns, relationships ...just about anything....& always eager to help any way she could...always ready to step in as a prayer warrior...and always acted as a great resource for helpful information regarding (basically anything ) community concerns, the latest healthful lifestyles/products, resources for financial needs... just about anything and everything. Karen was a great example for her kids, friends and family. Her two boys are living proof of that. What amazing boys she raised. I will miss her a lot as I’m sure beyond a shadow of a doubt others who knew her will too. Until we meet again, Karen....with Jesus... ❤️ Love you.

What can I possibly say that would encompass all that Karen has meant to me.... our laughter, our tears, our 2am phone calls and running down the hall to talk to all hours of the night or morning lol.....our Happy Feet adventures, our chemo & hydration times.... endless endless conversations and then times we sat by each other without a word being said...
A friend who loved Jesus.... her sons and family....who loved life and fought hard. I have been sooooo blessed to call her my best friend and will always hold that special place in my heart.
