Kay was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Ray, her children, Pamela Kuyper and Dale Majors, and her grandchildren, Holly Kuyper, Jacob Kuyper, and Caleb Majors. Ray and Kay would have celebrated 60 years of marriage next April.
Kay grew up in Dearborn, MI and lived in Indianapolis, IN for 25 years before finally residing in Boca Raton, FL, where she lived for 40 years. She worked for Western Electric and Bearcat Radios. She also worked for 18 years at Gold Coast Christian School as a preschool teacher and for 5 years at First Baptist Church of Coconut Creek visiting the elderly.
Kay had been a member of First Baptist Church (formerly Calvary Baptist Church) for over 40 years. There, Kay served as a Sunday school teacher for over 35 years. Anyone who knew her knew that Kay’s faith in Christ was what she cherished the most in her life. She would want all of you here today to know that you also can receive the gift of eternal life. One of her favorite verses, John 14:6, says “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” If you are uncertain of where you will spend eternity, you can contact the Pastors of First Baptist Church that are available to talk with you. Kay will be belovingly remembered for her faith in Christ, and her kindness and dedication to her
family and her friends.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.BabioneBocaRaton.com for the Majors family.
