Kenneth Jude Sooker

Kenneth “Kenny” J. Sooker, age 64, passed away after a brief illness on October 31, 2023 in Boca Raton, Florida.

Kenny was born on November 13, 1958 in Flushing, New York, to parents, Kenneth H. and Cornelia (McGuire) Sooker.

A graduate of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL with a degree in Finance, he went on to have careers in banking and for many years he owned and operated an executive search and placement agency in Miami. A talented athlete in many sports, Kenny had a special gift and passion for golf both as a player and club professional, spending the last five years working at Boca Greens Golf Club forming great relationships.

In life, Kenny accumulated many friends, who admired him for his humor, his enthusiasm, and his overall love of people, which was reciprocated in the form of smiles, jokes, laughs, and hearty handshakes. He will always be remembered for his big heart and unselfish attitude always willing to lend a hand to others who needed help

He married Deborah Rosa in October 1986 and the couple had three children together.

A funeral at Ascension Roman Catholic Church on Federal 7520 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 333487, is scheduled for November 17th, 11 am. Reverend Carl Hellwig will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Kenny’s life. The family would like to request that In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Trustbridge Hospice (Boca Raton facility) in Kenny’s name.
