He attended Deerfield Beach High School in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He continued his education at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and The University of South Florida in Tampa, studying Management Information Systems. He married his high school sweetheart and they were together for 19 years.
He played football for the Deerfield Beach High School Bucks as offensive tackle, and enjoyed watching games as well (especially the Washington Redskins). He also liked going to parks and on nature walks with his family.
Kris always played the role of peacemaker and was a truly caring and sensitive person with a heart of gold. He definitely lived up to his reputation as a "gentle giant."
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Piascik, and daughter, Avry Piascik, of Boca Raton, Florida; mother, Christine Piascik, of Coconut Creek, Florida; brother, Mark Piascik, of Coconut Creek, Florida; and brother, Andrew Piascik, of Deerfield Beach, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Piascik.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33432. The funeral service will be held there on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. The body will be laid to rest at Boca Raton Municipal Cemetery and Mausoleum, to be attended only by immediate family members.
