Lena Rachel Buccieri

Lena Rachel Buccieri, age 97, died peacefully in Boca Raton, Florida on September 24, 2023. Lena is survived by her younger sister, Maryann Caggiano; her children Maryann Kingsmill (Jack), Mario “Bud” Buccieri (Barbara), and Marlene Gardner (George); her grandchildren David (Maggie), Natalie (Michael), Brandon (Ashley), Jaclyn, and Bryan (Clarissa); and great-grandchildren Maryann, Dylan, Olivia, Rylee, Bradley, Isabella, and Mia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mario and Victoria Gilberti; her husband, Angelo Buccieri; her sister, Rose Bertone; and her brother, Joseph Gilberti.

Lena was born on July 8, 1926 in Bronx, New York. She married Angelo in 1946. In 1979, they moved to Fort Lauderdale with their three children. Lena was a loyal friend to all and a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family, extended family, and friends will always remember her as loving, giving, incredibly strong, and generously welcoming others into her home for a wonderful Italian meal!

A Catholic Mass is scheduled for Monday, October 2, 2023 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 22094 Lyons Road, Boca Raton. A Graveside service will follow immediately after Mass on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 11:15 AM at Boca Raton Mausoleum, 451 SW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33432.
