Leon Francis Nadrowski MD

Faithful husband, caring brother and uncle, passed from this earth on December 9, 2010 in Boca Raton, FL. Throughout his short illness, he maintained grace and dignity. He was born in Brooklyn, NY. Deciding upon a career in medicine after serving in the U.S. Military, Dr. Nadrowski went on to become the director of surgery of Wyckoff Hospital, in addition to his private practice, which he maintained for over fifty years until his death. He married Gail (NEE) Simonsen in 1988. Dr. Nadrowski was active in his community, and for years has served as local leader of the Republican Party in the 50th Assembly District that includes Williamsburg and Greenpoint in Brooklyn, NY. He was a man of integrity, and held fast to his convictions. He is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Gail, brother-in-law Lawrence Lentol, nephews David, Russ and Lawrence Lentol, Jr., who reside in S. Florida and Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Anna, his uncle Stanley, and by his sister, Helen Nadrowska Lentol. Mass of Christian burial at 12:00 noon on Monday December 13, 2010 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Davie, FL., immediately following Mass.
