

Lester was born on April 16, 1931 to Natalie Orsini Zografos and Paul Zografos in the city of South Boston. He worked at The Colonial Tanning Company, as a leather sorter for over 5 years, as well as numerous jobs until he found his true passion as a mixologist. This career brought out his true wonderful qualities that led to many lifelong relationships. Lester was passionate about meeting new people and bringing joy into their lives. He loved what he did for a living.
In 1948, he met Janine Veronica Zografos in the city of Boston. Lester & Janine went on to have 4 children, Mary, Lester, Karen and Leslie.
Lester retired in 2019 after over 30 years of dedicated service at The Yacht and Racquet Club of Boca Raton. While retired, Lester had time to travel and enjoy his friends and family. Some of his passions were his love of music, particularly Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, avid movie lover of action packed movies, as well as classics from the golden age of cinema. He also enjoyed sports, watching the Red Sox and New England Patriots. Another favorite pastime was his love of playing black jack. Kind, compassionate, generous, humorous, selfless, appreciative, and strong. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Lester was predeceased by his beloved wife Janine Zografos, his son Lester Jr, his brothers George, Paul and Raymond. As well as his son in law Patrick Garcia. He is survived by his daughters Mary (Richard) Albanese of Stoneham, Massachusetts, Karen (Steve) Lutz of Boca Raton, Florida, Leslie Garcia of Wellington Florida. His loving grandchildren Kristen, Jeffrey, Janine, Alex, Lindsay, Matthew, Ashley, Chrissy, Cara, Patrick Jr, Steven Jr and Crystal. His great- grandchildren Christiano, Ava, Ella, Jack, and Abigail. His sisters Barbara (Dwight) Linn of Hampton, New Hampshire, Nayda (Terry) Coniglio of Anaheim, California, as well as the many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
