It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our dear client we take care of her puppies for so many years.
She was a cherished part of the Joni Grooming Spa and Boutique family, and it was always a pleasure to care for her beloved Toots. Her kindness, warmth, and friendship touched all of us, and her presence will be deeply missed.

We will never forget how gracious  Maria and Gary were when we first joined the Addison 5 years ago in welcoming us to the building.   We are saddened and shocked by her loss and our prayers are with her and her family during this difficult time.

One of the memories I have of my cousin Maria comes from fairly recent times. Just a few years ago, I had suffered a heart attack, and in the aftermath was feeling quite vulnerable. At a time when I was struggling with my new-found motality, I received a phone call from Maria and her husband Gary. They were both gracious and encouraging, and left me feeling better about my prospects. 
I was very grateful for their caring support at a difficult time in my life, and I will always remember Maria for that charitable gesture.

The photo was the start of our journey through the Canadian Rockies, a special and beautiful  moment. 
We called each other bookends, an endearing term.  I was the eldest and Maria the youngest, we loved, laughed, challenged and supported each other throughout life’s path.
While I lost my bookend, Maria’s love  and memories will forever live on in my heart.

My heart is heavy as I say goodbye to my aunt. I was blessed to have her close by while I was growing up; she was a special part of my life from the very beginning. Even after I moved away for college and work, we remained close and would regularly chat about life, football (her Giants and my Bears), and everything in between. Whenever I flew home to visit, she would call me after I arrived to check in and welcome me back, even if I was seeing her the next day. It was a simple gesture, but one that reflected how caring and thoughtful she was.

She was a beautiful person inside and out, and being around her made everything feel brighter. I'll miss our lunch dates on the beach, the laughs we shared, and simply getting to spend time together. I'll carry those memories with me always. Love you forever, Aunt Ria ❤️

I have been her trainer for many years. We have been through different phases in life together.
She always loved doing TRX core exercises that made her feel like flying… and flying she is now…

Maria was a truly beautiful soul—inside and out. She had a spark, a sass, and style that lit up every room. She was always dressed to the nines and full of plans for tomorrow , next week and next year .   I will forever cherish the time we spent together whether it was lunch dates, golfing nine, or dinner dates at Trattoria we always had laughs.  It comforts me to know that she was very happy especially this past year.  Her spirit will live on in our hearts. Love and miss  u girlfriend 😘

Maria was beautiful not only in appearance but also in spirit. She was elegant, always so put together, and carried herself with a quiet confidence and grace that drew people to her.
I am so grateful for the moments we shared together. Whether we were hitting golf balls, playing tennis, playing bingo, or simply knocking around and enjoying the day, Maria brought a sense of fun, warmth, and joy wherever she went. I can still see her beautiful smile and that look that seemed to say, "What's next? I'm ready." She approached life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and an openness that made every moment more enjoyable.
Maria was a bright light. Her laughter was genuine, her smile contagious, and her spirit unforgettable. She loved her family and her friends. She simply loved, and in return, she was loved by so many.
I feel honored to have known her and blessed to have shared a small part of life's journey with her. Maria will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

My dear beautiful and special Maria, while you were only in my life for 54 days they were the best and most memorable 54 days. I fell utterly, madly and completely in love with you! I will never forget your infectious laugh and beautiful smile. I will miss you greatly! Two days before she left us, she was glowing. There’s no other word for it. She was talking about everything she was looking forward to, laughing, beautiful — fully herself. That image is burned into my heart.

Maria had a way of showing up to the most ordinary moments dressed for something extraordinary — and somehow, she was always right. Life was extraordinary when she was in it.

She loved this group of friends fiercely and completely. Twelve of us, one little diamond for each, and now one of those lights belongs to her alone — shining somewhere we can’t quite see yet, but can feel.

I believe the people who loved us most don’t really leave. I see her everywhere. I think I always will.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Maria’s sudden passing. As her first tennis pro, I had the privilege of introducing her to the game many years ago and watching her grow to love it. Through tennis, Maria made many lifelong friends and became a valued part of our tennis community.

Maria brought warmth, kindness, and a wonderful spirit to the court. She was always a joy to be around. I will always remember her keeping a close eye on the clock so she could get home to spend time with her beloved dog. That devotion and caring nature were part of what made her so special.

Maria will be remembered fondly and missed by all who knew her. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends during this difficult time.

While our hearts are saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she is now in the loving arms of our Lord, and surrounded by His eternal peace. Her faith, kindness, and love were a reflection of God’s light, and that light will continue to shine through the many lives she touched.

I am heartbroken about Maria. She was such a dear friend, and I will always cherish the many fun times we shared golfing together and all the memories we created with our group of friends. It was so wonderful to see her happy and excited about life again.
