Maria J Chucik

Maria was born on June 1, 1946, in Poland. She later immigrated to New Britain, Connecticut, where she built a life centered on family, hard work, and love.

Maria found joy in cooking delicious meals for those she loved, tending to her gardening, and traveling to experience new places. She will be remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Her love was expressed through the meals she prepared, the home she nurtured, and the countless memories she created with those closest to her.

Maria is survived by her beloved husband Zbigniew Chucik: her daughters, Margaret Baczewski (Andrew ) and Elizabeth Walas (Jerzy); her grandchildren, Randon Walas, Justin Walas and Julianna Walas; and her cherished great grandchild Astro. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Maria’s family and friends will forever treasure the love, kindness, and strength she shared throughout her life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Babione Funeral Home, 10060 Calle Comercio Drive, Boca Raton, Florida, on July 20, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 2400 NE 12th St, Pompano Beach, Florida, on July 21, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Committal Service will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, Florida, on July 21, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
