Ma,
I can't even begin to express how hard it is to go on without you!  You were everything to me- not only a grandmother but a role model, a friend, a 2nd mother!  You were amazingly thoughtful, selfless, honest, smart, caring & strong, just to name a few.  I can only hope I possess even half of those qualities which made you an unforgettable and remarkable person.  You had a way of making everyone around feel like they were the most important person in the world!  I love and miss you soooo much!!!  You are my light!

My sister in-law / cousin / maid of honor/. No words can I find to justify how Vittorio and I feel. The pain is deep and unbearable. I look up to you in all the titles you held. The greatest mother, who I so much wanted to be like. The exceptional good wife you were and, again, I wanted to be like you. The grandmother who would tell me " Frensi it's the greatest joy to be a grandmother" and then to see how you made each of your grandchildren feel like you were their best friend and again I wanted to be like you. All the beautiful memories that I have of you begun when I was at the young age of 15, and forever will stay in my heart. I will miss you greatly and though I know that you no longer suffer, being the human that I am, I selfishly wish you could have stayed and graced us a little bit longer. Now I just want to say a few words about Vittorio, you're youngest brother/my husband. I have never seen him in such agony with the exception of when your mother died and so with this I say your passing from this earth has meant him loosing his mother all over again. You were not only his sister but like a mother to him. We love you so much and hope we have expressed our love to you as you so much expressed it to us our whole lifetime.  You'll forever be in our hearts.

Ma I read you a speech today and I hope you loved it. I know I cry now but dont be sad as long as your happy for even a little while I will be happy for a lifetime. Ma, you were a fighter I love you. I put the speech next to you so you may always have it. You were the best grandma in the whole world. I just want you to know that every word in that entire speech is true!! I will never forget all of the wonderful memories we've shared. You were always a kind and loving woman to everyone. You always had a beautiful smile on your face, and taught us so much. You were like another mother to me. I will miss you, and love you always!

Ma there are a few things I never got a chance to tell you , you were a rolemodel too me I will carry on your love and happiness  to others. I was extremely lucky to have such a wonderful Mother-In-Law who was more like a mother to me.  Words can't express the emptiness that I now hold in my heart and the sadness I feel knowing that no one else can take your place. I know you are happy now, you worked hard your whole life for God. You brought joy to my life and taught me how to view the world, respect God and the Saints.

I would like to say that my zia was a great woman just like her mother was, she always smiled and had a wonderful personality.  I am so glad to say that I have many wonderful memories of such a great person. She loved her family so much, she was a great sister to my dad and her brothers, a great mom to her wonderful children, a great wife to such a wonderful husband, an excellent grandmother who took great care of her grandchildren and most of all a wonderful aunt who opened the doors to her homes to me everytime i visited.  Zia I miss you so much, there isn't any other person out there like you.  I will never forget you.  I love you so much.  your nephew Sal and Laura Marceca.
