Although I am so saddened to hear about Marshall, I smile when I think of him. You never had to ask him for help at a tournament, he was just always there. He said all the things to impatient bridge players that I thought of and never said. Amazing and tireless, he had such love for you Linda, and the family. He was so happy when you were given such good medical results ,only to find out he had a fight ahead of him too. Yet with no complaining he tackled that like everything he did, with gusto. The Saturday before his passing, he told me how overjoyed he was to be named @Volunteer of the Year”. We all know he deserved that as well as great husband and Uncle. I send hugs and deep sympathy to the family. Just know how proud he was of you!!
Rest In Peace and know you are missed!!

What can I say!! It’s hard to believe, one the nicest people I ever had the pleasure of being friends with is gone. Marshal was a great golfer and I am terrible, but he was always willing to play golf with me. He just had a way to make me laugh and would always say to me, "Just aim for the pin and go for it!!!" I have taken that approach in so many parts of my daily life. Just go for it! I will miss you, buddy. .
