

Melhem Gebrayel MALOOF, age 87, formerly of Brooklyn, New York, passed away in Delray Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Melhem was born on November 2, 1934 in Beit Shama, Lebanon, to the late Gebrayel and Afifi Maloof.
As a self-educated man, Melhem was an avid poet, philosopher, mentor and advisor to all who sought his company and counsel. Cherished and respected by many,
Melhem left an indelible mark on his family, church and community.
Surviving Melhem are his loving wife Judith, and his beloved children, Renee, William, Lily and Gladys, his adoring grandchildren, Alex, Michael P., Michael M., Anthony, Elizabeth, Steven, Jason and Nicholas, his loving sister Rene, and many beloved nieces and nephews and their families. He will be deeply missed.

A visitation for Melhem will be held Monday, February 7, 2022, from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church, 2100 NW 51st St, Boca Raton, FL 33431. A funeral service will immediately follow from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Committal services will be held at 11:30 AM at Boca Raton Mausoleum, 451 SW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33432.
