Michael Presta

Michael Presta, 79 of Boca Raton passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Anna, two sons Louis and Robert (Stephanie) Presta and a daughter Daniela (Jose) Beltran, all of Boca Raton. Mr Presta leaves behind his four grandchildren Alexandra and Michael Joseph Presto, and Michael Robert and Deanna Beltran. Mr Presta will be missed by his two brothers Mario, Frank (Lucy) and a sister Mary (Ray) Jorgovan. He also leaves a sister-in-law Rose. Mr Presta was predeceased by a brother Joseph.

Mike was born in Carole Cosenza, Italy on May 7, 1932, Mr Presta came to the United States with his family in 1952 to Bronx , New York: moving to Yonkers, several years later. He was the owner of Frank and Joe's Deli in Bronx, New York; before moving to Boca in 1987. After moving to Florida, Mr. Presta became a co owner of a deli in Margate called Del Presta, retiring in 1998. During his life, Mike enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren, travel to Italy, and cruising. He enjoyed an Alaskan cruise with his family and it was his desire to cruise there again someday.

A visitation for Mr. Presta will be on Saturday and Sunday, April 28th and 29th; from 2-4 and 6-9PM, at Kraeer Boca Raton Funeral Home, 1353 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 30th, 11:00AM at Saint John The Evangelist Catholic Church. The church is located on the SW corner of Yamato Road and State Road 7(441). Entombment will follow at The Gardens Memorial Park and Cemetery in Boca Raton.
