

Mike was the eighth of nine siblings, raised on a dairy farm in Bridgeport, Vermont. Mike graduated from Middlebury Union High School in 1967. He then joined the United States Army serving during the Vietnam Conflict where he obtained the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal as well as his life passion as a mechanic.
Mike was a successful business owner in Vermont and later moved to Florida in 1983 with his beloved wife Linda. Their love for each other is eternal. Mike served his community as a mechanic for many years and was Superintendant of Fleet Maintenance for the City of Lauderhill. Because of his playful and magnetic personality, he will be deeply missed by all.
Mike is survived by his wife Linda Bissonette Laroche, his mother Elmire (Duguay) Laroche, seven siblings, seven children, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 25th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kraeer Funeral Home, 1 State Rd. 7 Margate, Florida.
