Dear Uncle Nicky, We didn't get to spend a lot of time together over the years, but I know how much you meant to Grandma Evelyn.  She would always talk about you and all her siblings.  You always seemed so full of life, always so active even until recently.  That is something we can all admire.  Please give Grandma Evelyn and Grandpa Willy a big hug and kiss from me and their new great grand daughter, Abigail.  We love you all.

Uncle Nicky:
As you leave us here on earth and venture up in to heaven to be reunited with your brothers and sisters and other loved ones, you leave behind a family who loves you very much. I will cherish the last time I visited you and we had a guys night out - but what I remember most is what you told me: "Jason, I am proud of you and what you plan to accomplish (regarding radiology school) - remember that your mind may tell you to give up but your heart will guide you to reaching your goal." You also said, regarding my "love life" : "Find the person that makes you smile every day, the one that makes you feel alive and who will treat you with love and respect always - us Romanos are lovers with hearts of gold and we only deserve the best, whoever we end up with will be blessed to have us in their lives."  These things I have always kept in my memory - and wouldnt you know it - I am 4 weeks away from graduation of radiology school and I finally found the perfect girl to share my entire self with - shes everything I always told you I was looking for! I know you would be proud of me.  I am going to miss you so much - I love you and hope you continue to look down on all of us with that smile that you always had!
