Paul was a very special man to me.
I met Paul and Kay when I was a high school kid.
I was best friends with his daughter – Judi, who married my best friend Barry.
I always loved his blessed family.
He cherished and always bragged on his loving family.
He inspired his family and others to excel.
He was a trip to work for at the "66 service station",
He took me fishing on his boat off the coast of Boca.
All of you folks associated with the Kay and Paul Gonnelli family have been touched with some special genes......
……..and to me...Paul was a shipmate...he a shallow water Coastie....me a deep water flattop Airedale...with a connection that will be with me for the rest of my life,
Paul….you are my favorite captain. ….And also a dear shipmate...
I look forward to sailing with you again some day.....
Until we are underway together again…..
Fair winds and following seas..
