Battista, Robert Michael – passed away in Boca Raton, FL on November 3rd, 2010 from a short bout of cancer. This day was also his father’s birthday, may they both rest in peace. He was 73 years of age. He was born on March 21st, 1937 in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Boca Raton, Florida in 1976 with his family. He is survived by daughters Lisa Karsten and Sherri Battista, grandchildren Zachary and Alexandra Karsten, Ex-wife Joan Battista and girlfriend Vivian Comunale. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Services will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church Boca Raton, FL on November 27th, 2010 at 10 a.m. and internment will be held directly after at The Gardens, 4103 North Military Trail, Boca Raton. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Lynn Cancer Institute / Sandler Pavillion, The Center for Hematology/Oncology and Radiation/Oncology.
