Lamberti, Robert "Bob," 66, passed away Saturday, March 27 after a year-long valiant battle with cancer. Originally from Staten Island, NY, Bob was a Boca Raton, FL, resident since 1986. He graduated from McKee Vocational & Technical High School in 1961, and at the age of 17, he began his career in field engineering at IBM. He later graduated from the City of New York/College of Staten Island. Bob retired from IBM in 1993 after 32 years of service. Afterwards he established "Quality Work", his own home repair business and was affectionately known as "Bob the Builder" to many of his customers and neighbors. Bob was predeceased by his daughter Ann in 2005. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Elizabeth and his daughter Allison, both of Boca Raton. He also leaves behind two brothers, Victor (Rosemarie), and Joseph (Nancy), of Staten Island, NY, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially his dear friend Karam Karram of Boca Raton. Bob was a good man who enjoyed helping others and spending time with his family. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, March 30 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at Babione Funeral Home West, 10060 Calle Commerce Dr., Boca Raton. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31 at St. John Catholic Church, with internment following immediately at Boca Raton Municipal Cemetery on 4th Ave.
