I was so sorry to hear of "Uncle Bob's" passing.  I have such fond memories of our families' time together in Hollywood.  He was a wonderful man who will be missed - know he is at peace.

Aunt Sandra and Family,
I am so saddened to hear that Uncle Bob has passed away. As the years have passed, I still vividly remember our trips to Hollywood with Mom and Dad visiting our grandparents, aunts,uncles,cousins and always a special trip to see my Godparents. I know now that these visits by Dad were to reunite with his chilhood buddy and share with each other the joy of each other's families! Dad would often share stories of times from high school or days at UF with Uncle Bob. Those are memories of a lifetime and a true testimony of their friendship together. Dad shared that their friendship spanned 66 years....that is incredible in these days and times. What role models our families have had all these years! 
You and Uncle Bob were there for me as I entered the Catholic Church through my Baptism, you were there for my wedding in the Sacrament of Matrimony and I truly appreciate the support given throughout the years. For the past six months, I have gone through a spiritual renewal in my faith, and , know that through these times, I was always praying for Uncle Bob. I know he is now at peace and in the arms of our loving Father in heaven and I will continue to pray for you and the family so that you too may  find comfort in the coming days.

Ramon was such a gentle soul.  Quick to grin, and extremely good natured.  His passing will be felt by many.  We share in your loss of such a fine man, and know that we pray that you forever remember his gentle laugh, wry smile, and fine sense of humor as you grieve over your loss. Dear Sandra, I haven't known you and Bob as long as Don, but in the few years I've known you both, it has been a blast!  My memories of Bob are of his laid back attitude, his sense of humor and his laugh.  I will always remember our cruises, our cocktail parties before dinner, our bridge games, and Bob and Don always beat us.  We would sit there and watch while they bid (talking across the board, of course), knowing full well that they would trounce us!  You and Bob were the first of Don's friends that he introduced me too and I'm so thankful to have known you both.  I am here for you.

Sandra & Family, You have our heartfelt sympathy on your loss.  Bob was my oldest friend  I remember to this day the first time we met.  It was July 1947 at the Chimes Trailer Park in Hallandale, next to the Hollywood Dog Track.  Bob, Ed and Marianne were at the swing set and Mike was probably drinking coffee with my mother!  My family had just arrived at the park and I was anxious to meet new friends.  From then on, Bob became my first Florida friend and it has continued for 66 great years.  I will miss Bob and our phone calls we had every few weeks.  We looked forward to these conversations, usually about the Gators, Heat or Dolphins and we solved many of the world's problems!!!!  Finally to all the grand kids, let me tell you, your grandfather really loved each and every one of you in a special way.  There wasn't a phone call we had that your grandfather didn't tell me with pride and love what was going on in your lives.  He was so proud of you all and he let me know this each time we talked.  Bob I will miss you and never forget you.  May the Peace of the Lord, Jesus Christ, be with you all.
