Ronald Arthur Morse

Born on February 2nd 1940 in Manchester NH, Ron was the son of Emilus and Rena (Philbrick) Morse. Ron graduated from Manchester Central High School in 1958 then went on to attend both, University of New Hampshire and Arizona State University, playing baseball for the three years he was at A.S.U. After college Ron went into the US Army. While serving his country, he was injured on base leading to a medical discharge. Upon discharge Ron joined the NH State Police and was a decorated state trooper for more than 10 years. Ron worked for Pepsi Cola and UPS as a truck driver, he was a licensed realtor as well as an all-around handy man. Ron retired in 2008 as the Head of Security for Pinkerton Academy in Derry NH.

Ron loved sports, playing both baseball and basketball for many years and finding a love for golf later in life. He was an IAABO basketball official, NHIAA football official as well as an ASA softball and NH baseball umpire for many years.

Ron was married to Patricia (Keenan) Morse for 42 years. Patricia passed away March 13th 2007. Ron and Pat loved and cared for each other dearly, they did everything together. Going for rides with their dogs was their favorite thing to do.

Ron was remarried to Denise Sylvester on August 8th, 2015, and spent the remainder of his life traveling back and forth from Delray Beach FL to Rye Beach NH. Ron loved playing golf with Denise and friends. When in NH Ron belonged to Abenaqui Country Club and when in FL he belonged to both the Delray Beach Golf Club and The Boca Raton Resort. During his last 12 years Ron’s greatest enjoyment came from playing golf with Denise.

Ron is survived by his children, son Bryan Morse and wife Donna, daughter Rhondalee Morse Machos, son Mark Morse and wife Amy, stepdaughter Tina (Sylvester) Bosen and husband John. Ron has several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ron was predeceased by his son in law Ronald Machos who passed November 4th 2017.
