I am very sad to learn of Roy's passing. I have been in rehab for many months and have only now discovered his memorial. Oh boy do I have fond memories of Roy. I was his manager for a few years at Paterno Imports, attended his wedding and then we lost track of each other. Please contact me if anyone reads this. I would like to know more about his recent history.

I am so very sorry to learn of this. Roy was larger than life with his big personality and passion for life. We worked together several years ago in the wine business and when I would travel to his market he was an enthusiastic host full of great colorful stories and always so proud to share about his dearly beloved children.  Rest in peace, friend, you knew how to live and how to make the most of every moment. Peace.

Hey Diane,,,,,  so sad to hear of Roy's passing.  Only learned of his health last month or so, what a tough blow.
Though we lost touch the past twenty years  or so, all those great memories at 71 Palisades, playing cards in the basement and basketball in the driveway.   And riding around in the Tempest,  in my Chevelle and crazy days at Woodlands.  Him playing his twelve string and singing Lennon/McCartney unabashed, loud with great spirit. 
Visits to BC and hanging out all those hours in Tarrytown.

He got up late, he stayed up late!  Rest in Peace.

Was one of a kind! A very funny man who loved his family. I had a lot of wonderful times with him.
I Traveled the world with him. Played cards, drank and worked hand in hand to help grow his brands.
