We are so sorry to find that Samuel has died. We only met him once and found that we liked him a lot and knew from his personality that he had been taught by a good and loving mother.

I can't express how much it saddens me to find out that I have missed my cousins entire life.  He left with his family when I was a boy and I never saw him again.  It seems, from what I have been able to find online, that he was a fine man who was loved and had much love.  I wish that I had had the opportunity to know him as the other folks who signed this memory book.  I grieve for his families loss and for the memories I will never have.

Missing you more and more every day. I will be forever thankful for all you have taught me. Love you always.

Sam was our friend and neighbor.  Although we know that God has control, it still breaks our hearts to know that he is not here. We just really hope that he truly knew how much we loved him.  We are deeply saddened, but still joyous in knowing that he is no longer hurting and that we will see him again some day.  We are here whenever you need us and we will continue to pray for strength, peace, and comfort for you and your family.

I wanted to express my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I worked with Sam and he will be sorely missed. He was a great guy and a really good friend.

I was privileged to give birth to this person who I named Samuel James after already being blessed by the birth of my miracle baby girl. I held those little fingers until they were the size of an adult. I bent down and kissed those cheeks until I had to stand on my toes to put my arms around their shoulders to give them that very same kiss. But at some point we give our children back to God and God sends them out to make the same journey we are making-To find our life purpose. That is our true blessing. If I allowed myself to believe that I was entitled to anymore then what I was given, then this is where I will find pain. This pain is not real. As much as it may feel real, it is man made or in this case women made or mom made. My son lived his life exactly as God intended him to live it. What ever lesson his journey was designed for, I believe on that day, June 8, 2013 God said, "Job well done son. It's time to come home."
