Sara June Northard

Sara was born in Miami and graduated from Hialeah High School. She met Robert Northard, her husband of 63 years, while he was stationed in Miami with the U.S. Marine Corps. After raising three daughters, she returned to college and graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in accounting. She became a Certified Public Accountant and worked for the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent, rising to the position of Team Leader in the Large Case Division. In retirement she enjoyed playing bridge with her husband and friends, traveling the world, and gardening. Most of all she loved spending time with her many grandchildren who will miss her greatly.
