I was just 12 years old the last time I saw Sergio when my grandparents decided to surprise Sergio and Jackie with a visit. The deepest condolences from Onelia, Tico, Meyin and Cesar. No words can express the sadness that his passing gives us. We can all however take solace in knowing that he is in a better, more peaceful place. When my grandfather passed away someone left me with the best quote I’ve ever heard. “We don’t cry for them, we cry for us. We cry because we don’t have them with us. It’s not their passing so much as their missing that hurts us. For wherever they are it’s better than where they were.”

Words can not come close to how sad I am, Sergio and Jackie treated me like there 4th child, We have so much history together and I will always cherish each and every moment. I spent the week with Sergio and Jackie the week before he fell so ill and I think a higher power made this possible. I was a huge part in all three children's life which I always felt as I was a part of there family. So to Jackie, Natalie, Jenny, and Jessie, I am so sorry for your ( our) loss, and I know what a spiritual family you are and I feel good knowing Sergio is with our Savior. Rest in peace my dear dear friend~ Until we meet again~Fly high Sergio, I love you and will certainly never forget you! ~ Kim~

We became friends as our son Jeremy was dating Jennie; they dated for about 5 years and we became very good friends. We were invited to their house for parties or just for a drink.
Sergio had a smile that would brighten the room! He was an extraordinary person, always helping people. I remember he helped my husband when he lost his job, and they worked together on a couple jobs.
Not long ago Wade left a message for Sergio, he want to ask him if he wanted to go to the Keys in June but we never heard back.
You will be greatly missed Sergio.
RIP our dearest friend.
