I’m sorry to hear the news of Uncle Tom’s passing. My uncle was indeed a member of the greatest generation. A WWII veteran, hardworking dedicated family man and citizen. In all the years I’ve known him I  never heard him complain about anything or speak unkindly of anyone. Next to my father my Uncle Tom was the most influential male role model in my life growing up. I recall a conversation I had when I was on my submarine regrading why I joined the Navy. Most of the crew knew my dad was in the Army, so the logical question was how did I wind up in the Navy. My reply was simple, I had an uncle who was a US Navy veteran whom I respected and looked up to so that’s why I joined the Navy. Fair winds and following seas, Uncle Tom.

Mary may you and the family take comfort in the love of each other , your friends , cherished memories and life lessons your dear Tom

It’s hard to find the right words to express my thoughts  in being part of your family for the last 38 years. You were a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather, and inspiration to everyone.

Tommy and I have been very lucky to have had such a wonderful grandpa like Poppy. Although she won't get to meet him, my daughter will know all about her great-grandpa through all of the amazing memories we'll get to share with her.

What can you say about a man who sets the highest bar of integrity, honesty, family loving, GOD fearing, and the best Father-in-law law that a person can ask for.  Dad you will be missed greatly!  Rest in peace.  I hope they have the sports channel in Heaven.

My beautiful dad is in heaven.  My sisters and I were the luckiest girls in the world to have such an outstanding, loving dad.  He provided us with a great life, with fond memories. I love him so much and he will never be forgotten. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My Dad was an amazing, dedicated loving family man! There is nothing that he wouldn't do for his family! He had a strong positive attitude and was always happy! He never complained and was always upbeat no matter what changes life dealt him. He loved his wife, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren beyond words. I loved and admired him and was so blessed and proud to have him as my Dad. He was a great role model who had a quiet, unselfish strength that we all admired.
