Johnson, Vincent B., 96 of Boca Raton, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016. He was born and raised in New York City and was employed with Manufacturer Trust Company. He was drafted into the U.S. Army during WWII and served with 8th Armor Division in Europe. Vincent married Madelyn Rugarber (now deceased) while serving in the military and resided in Allentown, NJ. A son and daughter were born, Walter in 1943 (now deceased) and Elaine L. Strock of Hardy, VA. After the war Vincent worked as Superintendent of Public Works, borough of Allentown, NJ. He retired to Florida in 1985 and married Else Marie Brekne in May of 1989. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12 Noon on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Babione – Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 North Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL 33432. A Funeral Service will begin at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Boca Raton Mausoleum.
