

Beloved son of Elias Batrus and Elizabeth Hallow, brother of Fred Batrus, Iva Ormes Ranney and Marjorie Cope, all deceased.
A Captain in the Air Force during World War II, he worked in the Judge Advocate General’s Office and was one of the elite few asked to prosecute the trials at Nuremburg. An attorney by profession, he was admitted to the bar in three states and practiced in Washington, DC. He retired having never lost a case. He was an avid golfer, tennis player and a great dancer. He was married in 1947 to Lillie Dee “Pepper” Brown, deceased.
Survived by a daughter, Sherry Batrus; son in law, Frank Lunetto; nieces, Linda O’Bryon, Carol Batrus, and Elizabeth Batrus; nephew, Harlan Batrus; and brother in law, George Cope. Friends may call on Monday, September 27, 2010 from 10-11AM at Babione Funeral Home, East Chapel. A Funeral Service will follow at 11AM, entombment will take place at Boca Raton Mausoleum.
