Brother, its taking me some time to compose my thoughts but here we go.
Billy and I met when we were 13. Both being the youngest in our class, you would have thought we were in preschool compared to the others within our age group. I loved many things about billy but his loyalty to the ones he loved stood out , especially those who reciprocated. As time goes on, we mature and sometimes change but not Billy, his love grew stronger and I witnessed it first hand w Stacie, Reese and Maddison. He loved his family unconditionally and would talk of them often. His eyes would light up when his ladies were around, it was inspiring and beautiful. As good as billy was, Stacie and his girls made him even better.
Brother, my love for you will never die. I think of you daily and pray for your family often. I know in my heart we will see each other again . I’m blessed to call you my friend!!
Love always,
Hops ❤️

Billy, few people know your history, no one knew your future. I know that the present life you gave Stacie, Maddy and Reese will forever impact their future. You changed lives Billy! You were a huge life force that brought smiles to everyone with your “rose colored glasses”, every-lasting optimism and no fear of overcoming obstacles. You did it buddy! You climbed more mountains and broke through more fences than most would see in ten lifetimes! Your memory will be eternal! I have HUNDREDS of memories and photos I wish I could share.
Stace, Maddy, Reese… love you guys always!!! #livelikebilly forever!

Its actually taken me a few days to gather my thoughts, as I am still in shock of what has actually happened here. Billy, you were such an inspiration and loving soul to anyone and everyone you touched. The phrase "live life like Billy" could not be more accurate. Rich and I are completely devastated at your passing and know that only the BEST die young...you were one of the best. We thank you for your unconditional, fun and loving friendship through the years. We will be forever thankful and blessed to have had known such a wonderful human being like you! You supported us through thick and thin, good and bad and just anything that came our way through the years. Your memory will live on through Stacie and the girls! We will NEVER FORGET YOU and NEVER FORGET all the love and support you always gave us! Fly high our dear friend and we'll see you on the other side! Till we meet again, be cool! Love to you, Stacie, the girls and your family forever...Love, Kendra and Rich xoxoxo

Billy, always with a kind word, and a full smile. I went to school with Billy, and while we weren't really close, we didn't run in the same circles, we had some classes together and spoke when we met up in class or the hall.
But years after school when we would see each other at reunions and on social media, it was as though we were old friends. Anyone could see he loved fiercely. His people, his life, adventure, and challenge.
I'm thankful to have known him and grateful to have called Billy my friend.

Billy’s step daughters , Reece and Maddie, are my great nieces. We first met Billy in Colorado when he , Stacie and the girls met us for breakfast. What struck me about him was how warm and loving he was to us even though we had just met. I’m glad we had those chances,. though brief, to get to know this generous and loving man. We are heartbroken for Stacie and the girls as we know what a rock he was in their family.. my love and prayers go out to my nieces and to Stacie. Please. know you are being held in prayer by us

Billy has been like a second father to me ever since Reese came into my life. He and Stacie always welcomed me into their home and were so giving. I have so many great memories and lessons to thank Billy for. I have been remembering all of the laughs we shared. I am truly grateful to Billy for attributing to the person I am today. I will always remind myself to have fun and to live life to the fullest, just like he did.

Love you.
