Allena Marie Meyer Kalie

Born in Erie, PA on the first of September, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Ruth Meyer (Zimmerman). Allena was retired from International Paper Company after thirty years of service. She attended both Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Brendan Catholic Church since moving here in 2015. Her passion was fishing, especially for Lake Erie perch and cheering on her Pittsburgh Steelers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Kalie.

Surviving are her husband Douglas A. “Doug” Roth, Sr. of Winnabow; two sons, Charles Kalie, Douglas Kalie(Sandra); two daughters, Debra Brown(Patrick), Donna Kalie- Stant; four brothers, Richard Meyer (Audrey), Norman Meyer (Patricia), Edward Meyer (Marlene), Robert Meyer; a sister, Eileen Sauers-Swartwood and four grandchildren, William Kalie, Jacob Kalie, Jared Kalie and Brianne Stant.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Erie, Pennsylvania.

In lieu of customary remembrances, and for those desiring, memorial contributions may be directed in her name toward her favorite charity the US Conference of Catholic Bishops
