Alma Ward Anderson

Mrs. Anderson was born in Columbus County, NC on April 30, 1914 and was the daughter of the late Hoyle and Elizabeth Ray Ward. She was the wife of the late Charlie Morgan Anderson and was also preceded in death by a son in-law, Wilber Earl Rabon and a Great Grandson, Chad Summerlin, and her seven siblings.

She is survived by four daughters, Doris Rabon of Leland, Shirley Frazier and( Ralph) of Leland, Sally Skipper (Arthur) of Oak Island and Charlene Huffstetler (Dan) of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and ten great great-grandchildren and a special niece, Sharon Ward.

Funeral services will be held Monday February 8, 2016 at 3p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church with Mr. Ralph Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Randy Rabon, Brandon Rabon, Wayne Rabon, Chris Rabon, Gregg Skipper, Brad Huffstetler, and Morgan Lugo.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that contributions be directed to the Zion United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 348 Winnabow, NC 28479.
