Bonnie Fay Mooney, 73, of Wilmington, N.C. died Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at her home. Ms. Mooney was born September 22, 1942 in Columbus County, N.C. and was the daughter of the late Sink Hewitt and Sarah Earline Porter.
Ms. Mooney is survived by her sons, Tony Ray Hewitt and Wayne Allen Mooney; daughters, Donna Marie Mooney, Penny Lee Woods, and Norma Jean Sattler; brothers Jerry Hewitt and Burno Hewitt; and sisters, Mary Hawkins, Emmy Hewlett, and Eliz Ann Coston.
A funeral service will be held Friday October 2, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Bible Baptist Church Supply. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church, and other times at the home. Interment will follow in the Shell Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
