Bonnie Renegar Waters

Bonnie Renegar Waters, age 77 of Boonville, NC went to her Heavenly home on February 10, 2021 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Daisy Ledbetter Renegar; son, Jamie Gilmore; sisters, Helen Flynn, Betty Cockerham; brothers, Fred Renegar, Worth Renegar. Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Teresa Calderon (Victor); sisters, Colleen Hall (John), Pat Simmons (Tommy), Shirley Nelson (Larry); sister in-law, Kathy Windsor; brother in-law, Billy Cockerham; grandchildren, Rodney Crouse (Jenni), Carrie Crouse; four great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held in the spring, as COVID subsides. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Woodard’s Adult Health Center, 115 Holden Beach Road, Shallotte, NC 28470. The family wishes to express a special "thank you" to Woodard's Adult Health Center and Lower Cape Fear Life Care (Hospice). I worked with Bonnie at Hugh Chatham hospital. I love working with her ,even in the ruff stuff we did there it was fun. Bonnie was a very pretty and sweet lady. I know her and Jamie are so happy. See ya again sweet lady..
